Access to Google User Data: If you choose to connect your Google account to Recital, we may access certain Google user data that you authorize through Google's authentication and authorization services. The specific information accessed depends on the Recital features you enable and the permissions you grant. Recital only accesses Google user data necessary to provide the requested functionality, such as retrieving financial statements, transaction-related information, files, or other data required to provide Recital's reconciliation and financial operations services.
  • 6.2. Use of Google User Data: Google user data accessed by Recital is used solely to provide and improve the Recital features you have authorized. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising purposes. Recital's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • 6.3. Storage and Retention of Google User Data: Recital retains Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide the services requested by the user, satisfy legitimate business or security requirements, or comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations. Where Google user data is processed temporarily to perform an authorized operation and does not need to be retained to provide the service, Recital will delete the data after the processing purpose has been completed. Where Google user data is stored as part of a Recital service, it will be retained while the relevant account or integration remains active or for the period reasonably necessary to provide that service.
  • 6.4. Deletion of Google User Data: Users may request deletion of Google user data stored by Recital by contacting customer@recital.finance. Users may also disconnect their Google integration or revoke Recital's access through their Google Account permissions. Revoking access prevents Recital from accessing new Google user data through that authorization. Following a valid deletion request, account deletion, or disconnection where the retained Google user data is no longer required to provide the service, Recital will delete the applicable Google user data from its active systems within 30 days, unless retention is required by applicable law, regulation, security obligations, or an ongoing contractual requirement. Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups and disaster-recovery systems and will be removed in accordance with Recital's standard backup retention cycle.
  • 6.5. Security and Sharing: Google user data is protected using the security measures described in this Privacy Policy. Access is limited to authorized systems, personnel, and service providers where necessary to operate Recital. We do not sell Google user data.
